BEML bags International Award for its Quality initiatives
BANGLORE.BEML LIMITED, has been bestowed with the prestigious International Gold Award for its Quality initiatives in the manufacture of Metro Cars.
The BEML Metro Team represented by Shri Murali Mohan, Shri Sankar Reddy, Shri Ratheesh Ravindranath, Shri M B Somaiah and Shri Narayanaswamy. BEML has won the Gold Award competing 313 teams from 12 Countries across the Globe.
At the International Convention of Quality Circle Competition (ICQCC-2016) held at Bangkok, BEML Metro Quality Circle Team presented the case study on ‘Productivity improvement and reduction in Welding Distortion’ during manufacturing of side-block of Metro Cars.

The International Award winning quality initiatives of BEML in its manufacturing process of Metro Cars have not only make BEML to attain Self Reliance truly reflecting ‘Make in India’ concept, but also enables the Company for substantial savings in import costs.
