CCL to start Employment Centre expand CCL Ke Lal

RANCHI. Coal India subsidiary Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) has said that it would launch an Employment Centre at its headquarters in Darbhanga House. CCL Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) Gopal Singh said this on monday while sharing achievements of the company during last calendar year that the proposed employment centre was aimed at providing jobs to ‘eligible’ hands primarily in other companies.

“The centre will not only give career guidance to eligible youth not only for CCL, but also for other companies as well. We are also expanding our initiative CCL Ke Lal to Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL) areas also,” said Singh. He said that the company witnessed 21 per cent annual growth in coal production and 37 per cent dispatch on first day of New Year in comparison to January 1 last year.

This employment centre will not only guide the youths but also provide vocational training which will help them to secure job for themselves and will make them employable. CCL is already running one similar programme “Pahal” in which youths from rural Jharkhand are being trained and provided guidance for selection in armed forces.
