Chairman SAIL reviews performance of ISP, Burnpur

Burnpur. Chairman, SAIL, Mr. C.S. Verma made an extensive on-site review of the performance of the recently operationalised integrated stream of the Modernisation & Expansion facilities, in ISP Burnpur, today.  

 

Mr Verma visited the Bar Mill, Continuous Casting Shop, Universal Section Mill and the Blast Furnace ‘Kalyani’ (the largest operating blast furnace in the country). Noting the progress of work since his last visit in December’14, he exhorted the senior officials to work on a war footing for ramping up production to derive maximum benefits of the new facilities. He also had interactions with representatives of trade union as well as officers’ association.
