CONCOR managed to reduce Dwell Time by 50 percent at JNPT for containers
NEW DELHI . Container Corporation of India Ltd. has informed that the dwell time for containers which are moved through CONCOR at JNPT has been drastically reduced form 72-75 hours earlier to an average of 36 hours in February 2017 and to 32 hours in March 2017 till date.
Higher dwell time at JNPT has always been a cause of concern for the trade, but CONCOR took the issue seriously and made all out efforts by liasioning with Port, Customs & Railways in order to affect this improvement.
CONCOR has assured the Trade feternity that they will continue to make sincere efforts for further improvements in dwell time. Trade is requested to utilize the services for the benefit.
