Dharmendra inaugurates ‘Rs 11 medical fee’ service at NTPC Kaniha
BHUBANESHWAR. Union Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Sunday inaugurated the much sought-after ‘Rs 11 medical fee’ service at NTPC Kaniha near Talcher in Angul district. The Union Minister also inaugurated a 50-bedded Nursing School there. Need to be mentioned that, NTPC Kaniha-run hospital exclusively caters to the free medical service of its employees whereas it used to charge Rs 100 consultation fee from the locals and outsiders. However, conceding to the request of the general public of the area during his recent visit, Union Coal Minister Piyush Goyal directed the NTPC Kaniha hospital authorities to allow the local patients also to have access to the same medical services only by paying a token money of Rs 11 medical fee.NTPC nod to use recycled waste water for power plants:
