DMRC signs mou with the MDI Gurgaon for mutual sharing of expertise
NEW DELHI . The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) and the Management Development Institute (MDI), Gurgaon have signed a MoU for exchanging intellectual resource and infrastructure of both the organizations and setting the ground for long term Academy-Industry Partnership sharing the strengths of each other.
The MoU was signed at DMRC’s corporate office at Metro Bhawan by Mr. Sharat Sharma, Director (Operations)/DMRC and Dr. C. P. Shrimali, Director (Acting), MDI, Gurgaon in the presence of Dr. Mangu Singh, Managing Director/DMRC and other senior officials.
DMRC and MDI would collaborate to develop management level programs for senior and middle level executives of DMRC and the students of MDI in order to strengthen the scope of innovation and research. The modules for these programmes would be designed by the faculty members from MDI and officers from DMRC.
DMRC has also offered to arrange trips for the MDI students at its stations,construction sites, depots and training institute to give them practical exposure about customer management, Operations and Management, Project Management etc. MDI has also agreed to arrange involvement of DMRC officers in their workshops including meeting with Business Leaders and Innovators and students of Management.
