Employees of IndianOil Ovserved National Fire Service Day observed at HQ
New Delhi: 'The petroleum industry in general and IndianOil, in particular, is an active partner in fuelling India’s rapid economic growth trajectory. All IndianOil installations are equipped with the latest fire prevention and firefighting facilities along with world-class standard operating procedures. Any violation or deviation on safety is a matter of serious concern and absolutely unacceptable. This year should be devoted to zero-tolerance for unsafe practices.'
Mr. B V Rama Gopal, Director (Refineries), shared this in his message to IOCians across Refineries Division, to mark National Fire Service Day.
Mr. Kaushik Bora, Executive Director (Health, Safety & Environ.), RHQ, administered the Fire Safety Pledge and released an e-poster, in the presence of functional heads and senior IOCians at Refineries Headquarters. He also underlined the need for widespread awareness in making the workplaces and homes safe, from the possibility of fire incidents.
