Engineering Excellence Award to BEML

NEW DELHI .  BEML Limited, a premiere manufacturer of earthmoving equipment, has been bestowed with Engineering Excellence Award 2013 instituted by Engineering Watch, New Delhi for its R&D innovative product viz., BH150E Electric Drive Dump Truck. Apart from Engineering Excellence Award, the product has also won the Best Engineering Marvel in the category of Self-Reliance and Public Choice award as well.

 

These awards were presented by O P Rawat, Secretary, DPE  at a function held in New Delhi .  Shri  K R Raghavendra Rao, DGM , received the awards on behalf of the company. BH150E, an Electric Drive Dump Truck is inhouse designed and indigenously developed by BEML for the first time in the country
