GOA SHIPYARD LIMITED CELEBRATED REPUBLIC DAY
VASCO: The 69th Republic Day was celebrated at Goa Shipyard Ltd, with patriotic fervour. RAdm Shekhar Mital, NM, IN (Retd), Chairman & Managing Director, unfurled the National flag at GSL campus, which was synchronized with the singing of National Anthem followed by Guard of honour by the CISF contingent and presentation of Patriotic songs in Hindi, Konkani and Marathi composed and presented by GSL’s Serenade Group.
Speaking on the occasion, RAdm Shekhar Mital, Chairman & Managing Director said that “GSL is moving on the growth trajectory, We have achieved phenomenal growth of 42% last year with highest ever VoP and have scored MoU rating of 100%, which shows our exemplary performance in all domains. This year we will maintain the similar growth trajectory which will result in trembling off the turnover in mere 4 years. Due to the sustained efforts of all the employees over the years, we have built an outstanding brand image in design and timely delivery of Quality ships and have emerged as largest Exporter of ships from the country. We are committed to taking it to the next level with continuous innovation and commitment of our people.”
On the occasion, GSL employees were awarded Special Commendation and Commendation certificates for outstanding performance in their respective areas of work were distributed on the occasion. The function was attended by Directors, Senior Officers and workers of the company.
