HC quashes TN Govt order on GAIL project
CHENNAI. The Madras High Court today quashed the Tamil Nadu Government’s order stopping work on the gas pipeline project of GAIL (India) that was passing through the westerns districts of the State.
Upholding GAIL’s petition against the State Government’s order, the court has asked the State to facilitate the project in the public interest.
