Indian Oil to reach out to masses through road shows to spread awareness against corruption

New Delhi. IndianOil organised a skit competition to spread awareness on the issues pertaining to transparency, honesty and fight against corruption in social and public life. 
 
The skits were based on the designated theme of Vigilance Awareness Week (VAW) “Public Participation in Promoting Integrity and Eradicating Corruption", mandated by Central Vigilance Commission - the apex Vigilance Institution of the country. 
 
The students from Amity University, Noida bagged the first prize of Rupees one lakh by depicting the travails brought forth by corruption in the life of small, marginal farmers. 
 
'Astitva'- the drama group from Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) bagged the second prize of Rupees fifty thousand, while the theater group 'Soch' was awarded the third prize of Rupees twenty five thousand. Ms Caralyn K Deshmukh, Chief Vigilance Officer, IndianOil appreciated the performances and gave away the prizes, in the presence of Mr AK Chowdhury, ED (HR), RHQ, Mr PPS Paul, Mr D Kapoor and other senior officials of IndianOil.
