International Women s Day celebrated at IndianOil Refineries HQs
New Delhi: Mr. B V Rama Gopal, Director (Refineries), IndianOil, addressed a gathering of women employees and senior executives on International Women's Day, celebrated at Refineries Headquarters, under the aegis of WIPS (Women in Public Sector). In his speech, he said: 'in IndianOil, a conducive working environment has helped empower and nurture the potential of women employees to the fullest. Our refinery locations across the country have teams of efficient multi-tasking women, who are opting for challenging assignments in refinery plants, and are performing exceedingly well. With the tools of merit, skill, efficiency, there is no horizon that an employee in IndianOil, women or men, cannot conquer'.
Mr. Ranjan Kumar Mohapatra, Director (HR), IndianOil in his address said, 'the working environment in IndianOil has enabled the women employees to contribute their best and excel in their chosen fields.' He also congratulated women IOCians for winning the Best Enterprise Award by WIPS for two consecutive years.”
Ms. Nandana Munshi, Director General of Commercial Audit & Ex-Officio Member, Audit Board – II was the Chief Guest on the occasion. She called upon senior women professionals to mentor younger professionals, encouraging them to take up challenging tasks and lauded IndianOil for providing a safe and secure environment to its women employees.
Mr. V K Shukla, ED (HR), RHQ and Ms. Anandita Moitra Divisional WIPS Coordinator were also present on the occasion.
