IOCL aid to Mission Smile

With a view to bringing smiles on the faces of children born with cleft
lip and cleft palate, the Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) has extended a helping hand towards the Guwahati Comprehensive Cleft Care Centre (GC4) for the months of February and March.
IOCL Executive Director Dipankar Ray inaugurated the Indian Oil Month at GC4 in MMCH campus here. The IOCL will spend Rs 30.50 lakh as part of this CSR venture.
It needs mention here that the surgeries and medical care are extended to the affected children and their families free of cost through ‘Mission Smile’. The Guwahati centre has so far carried out 14,900 successful surgeries.The entire campaign is partially supported by the Government of Assam, while the rest of the expenditure is met through individual and corporate donations.
