IREDA Pays Dividend To GOI

New Delhi: Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Ltd. (IREDA), a Mini-Ratna PSU presented a cheque of Rs.25.50 crore towards dividend for Financial Year 2016-17. The dividend cheque was presented by Shri K.S. Popli, CMD, IREDA to Shri R. K. Singh, Hon’ble Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Power and New & Renewable Energy in the  presence  of  Shri Anand Kumar, Secretary,  MNRE,  Shri Praveen Kumar, Additional Secretary,  MNRE, Shri B. P. Yadav,  Joint Secretary,  MNRE, Shri S. K. Bhargava, Director (Finance), IREDA and  other  senior  officials of IREDA on 17th October  at MNRE, New Delhi.

IREDA has paid a final dividend of Rs.25.50 crore to Government of India for the financial year 2016-17 in addition to interim dividend of Rs.100 crore has already paid to Government of India. 
 
During the financial year 2016-17, IREDA achieved highest Loan sanctions and disbursement ever during any financial year which are Rs.10199.01 crores and Rs.6593.49 crores respectively.
