IREDA signed MoU with KfW
New Delhi: KfW and Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Ltd. (IREDA) have signed the 7th Line of Credit (LoC) for Euro 200 million (in equivalent USD 222.82 million) on 16th December, 2019 in New Delhi. The line of credit is for tenure of 15 years with a grace period of 3 years, and it will be utilized by IREDA for financing Renewable Energy projects in India. This LoC is secured by the sovereign guarantee from Government of India.
The Agreement for availing the LoC of Euro 200 million (in equivalent USD 222.82 million) from KfW was signed by Shri Praveen Kumar, Chairman and Managing Director, IREDA and Dr. Christoph Kessler, Director, KfW in the presence of Mr. Jochen Saleth, Principal Country Manager, KfW, Shri S. K. Bhargava, Director (Finance), IREDA Shri Chintan Shah, Director (Technical), IREDA and other senior officials.
