ITDC steps up for Tihar Jail

NEW DELHI: India Tourism Development Corporation Ltd. (ITDC) is making a collaborating effort with Tihar Jail to train inmates under “Hunar se Rozgar” scheme through its Centre of Excellence “Ashok Institute of Hospitality and Tourism Management” (AIH&TM), one of the premier PSU Hospitality Training Institutes of the country. 

 

The first training batch on “Front Office Associate” for 30 detainees under Tihar Jail was inaugurated by Shri Sudhir Yadav, Director General, Prisons Tihar Jail and Shri. Piyush Tiwari, Director (Commercial & Marketing), ITDC along with Mrs. Sudha Chandra Principal, AIHTM & General Manager, HRD, ITDC in the presence of Mr. RajKumar, Additional Inspector General (Prisons); Mr. Shailendra Parihar, Deputy Inspector General (Prisons); Mr. Jitendra Aggarwal, Deputy Inspector General, Mandoli along with Ms. Anju Mangla, Superintendent Prison, Tihar Jail at Tihar Jail, New Delhi on 13th September 2017.
