MCL bags PRSI National Award-2014 for Crisis Communication
JAIPUR. Mahanadi Coalfields Limited received the PRSI National Award 2014 for Crisis Communication at the 36th Annual PR Conference held in Jaipur (Rajasthan). Mr Kailash Meghwal, Speaker, Rajasthan Vidhan Sabha (Assembly), (middle) along with Mr Gulab Kothari, Editor-in-Chief, Rajasthan Patrika Group,presented PRSI National Award for Crisis Communication to members of Team PR MCL at Jaipur on December 19 , 2014 .
Mr Vinayak Jamwal, Assistant Public Relations Manager, MCL accompanied by the nominated nodal officers for PR, Ms Asha Jyoti, Assistant Manager (P-IR) and Mr Ajit Seth, Assistant Manager (HR) received the award .
During the crisis hours which challenged Company’s operations, the proactive approach of PR Department mobilised favourable conditions for the company to continue with coal production that ensured uninterrupted supply of dry fuel to the consumers, particularly the thermal power plants.
