MCL coal mines win Greentech Environment Award 2014
Sambalpur. Two coal mines of Mahanadi Coalfields Limited were conferred with the ‘Greentech Environment Award-2014’ for the green practices in mining operations.The awards were received by Jaswinder Pal Singh, Director -Technical/Projects & Planning of MCL and Mr Jitendra Singh, CGM Environment at Annual Greentech Environment and CSR Conference at Kolkata on January 28-29.
Lajkura Opencast project of MCL in Ib Valley Coalfields won the Gold Award while Kaniha Opencast Project in Talcher Coalfields bagged Silver Award at 15th Annual Greentech Environment Award.
