MCL contributes Rs 2 Lakh for Flood Relief in Rayagada and Kalahandi
SAMBALPUR: Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL), a flagship subsidiary of Coal India Limited, today contributed Rs two lakh for distribution of relief materials among flood victims of Rayagada and Kalahandi districts of Odisha.Hundreds of people were reported affected in Rayagada and Kalahandi districts due to recent incessant rains in Odisha.Sambalpur district administration had made a general appeal for contributions to arrange relief materials for distribution among flood victims of affected districts.
In a quick response to the appeal made for distribution of relief material among flood-affected people of Rayagada and Kalahandi districts, MCL handed over a cheque of rupees two lakh to Mr Smarth Verma, IAS, Collector Sambalpur.
