MECL Signs MoU WITH Govt.for the 2015-16

NAGPUR.  Mineral Exploration Corporation Ltd. (MECL), A Mini Ratna CPSE for mineral explopration in the country has signed performance based Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Ministryof Mines, Govt. of India for the Financial Year 2015-16 on 31.3.2014 at Shastri Bhawan, NewDelhi. The MoU was signed by Dr. Anup K. Pujari, Secretary , Mines,& Dr. Gopal Dhwawn, CMD , MECL, in presence of Shri R.Shridharan, Addltional Secretary, Shri Naresh Kumar, Dr. N.K. Singh, Shri Arun Kumar, JointSecretaries. MECL is continuously improving its drilling productivity through effective co-ordination andimplementation of drilling fluid technology. In 2014-15 MECL has carried out 409000 m. of drilling for various minerals viz, Coal, Lignite, Iron Ore, Gold, Copper, Lead Zinc,

Limestone etc.This is highest ever exploratory drilling in history of

the company. MECL has also  completed 27 Nos. of toilets MP. and

Telengana .
