NBCC to Develop Housing Projects For Indian Economic Service Officers in Delhi
New Delhi: NBCC, signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Department of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance on 23rd February 2018 for construction of High-end Residential accommodation for Indian Economic Service (IES) officers. Presided over by Shri Arun Jaitley, Hon’ble Union Finance Minister, the MoU was signed by Shri Yogesh JP Sharma, Executive Director (Business Development) on the behalf of NBCC (India) Ltd. and Smt. Archana Mayaram, Director on the behalf of Department of Economic Affairs. The upcoming project, on a plot area of 3519 sqm along Deen Dayal Upadhaya Marg, New Delhi, shall incorporate all modern facilities offering for a healthy and holistic lifestyle.
The upcoming building with 27 storeys, being developed in the heart of Delhi, will offer 90 units of Type-IV category flats, Community-cum-Club, Outdoor Sports facility, Swimming Pool, Basement parking etc. NBCC designed project shall boast of several sustainable and green features with emphasis on pedestrian-friendly green areas. Vertical Green Wall and Sky Garden will be a key highlight of the structure. Additionally, considering the site’s close proximity to Minto Road and railway line, the structure shall have Double glazed windows for sound insulation.
Other dignitaries present during the occasion included Shri Subhash Chandra Garg Secretary, DEA, Shri Arvind Subramanian, Chief Economic Adviser, Dr. Anoop Kumar Mittal, CMD, NBCC, Shri Neelesh Kumar Shah, Director (Projects), NBCC and other senior officers of Ministry of Finance and NBCC.
