Sonebhadra: Contributing substantially towards protection of flora and fauna, NCL under its CSR ambit, has given Rs.8 lakhs for development of ‘Hathinala Biodiversity Hotspot’ in Sonebhadra district of Uttar Pradesh. General Manager(CSR), Shri S.K.Jha handed over the demand draft of Rs.8 lakhs to Divisional Forest Officer, Renukoot Forest Division, Shri.Tulsi Das on Thursday, 22nd of June.

Haathinala Biodiversity Hotspot is an area rich with endemic plants and animals. Given the hilly terrain, the region largely depends on monsoon and often faces shortage of water during rest of the year.
