NCL to organise CSR Football Tournament
With an aim to promote U-17 Fifa Football World Cup scheduled in October 2017, NCL is going to organise Football Tournament from 15th September to 24th September under Corporate Social Responsibility(CSR) ambit of the company. 30 Rural and 12 Urban teams will participate in the 10-day tournament with final match scheduled on September, 24th,2017.
Selection of teams for participation will be done on ‘First Come, First Served’ basis. Last date for registration of teams along with names of players is September 12, 2017. Teams applying under ‘Rural’ genre are required to route their registration through Village Sarpanch.

The teams should consist of 16 players, 1 manager and 1 coach. All the matches will be played in 2 halves of 25 minutes each. Players will be allotted a unique jersey number which they need to wear while on ground. One player can not represent more than one team. Breach of this rule would lead to disqualification of player. Referees of affiliated federations will oversee the matches.
Matches of ‘Rural’ and ‘Urban’ genre will be played in Piparkhad village and Singrauli Stadium respectively. Final match of this knock-out tournament will be played between a Rural and an Urban Team.
