NCL Upgrades its Dumpers for Operator Comfort
Singrauli: In one of its kind initiatives Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL) has technically upgraded dumpers at its Central Workshop (CWS) to make the old dumpers operator friendly, safe and more reliable. In association with the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), the company has made phenomenal changes in the main frame, body guide, operator’s cabin, viscous mounting, tank and parking brake system of the dumpers that has led into better operator comfort, improved reliability with enhanced safety features.
In the first lot, two dumpers have been fully upgraded at CWS and deployed at Block-B coal project of the company showing robust performance. Buoyant NCL has put another three dumpers for upgradation.
Conventionally, the old dumpers would go for upgradation to the workshop of OEM that was costly and time spending.
