NEW DELHI Govt to raise Rs 6000 crore through CPSE ETF
NEW DELHI: The government will raise around Rs 6,000 crore through the second tranche of CPSE Exchange Traded fund (CPSE ETF) set to be launched next week.
“The issue size of follow-on fund offer is Rs 4,500 crore with a greenshoe option of Rs. 1,500 crore,” said a senior government official, adding that around 5 per cent discount will be given to anchor investors, for whom the issue will open on January 17. For all investors the issue will close on January 20.
The Labour Ministry has already allowed Employees Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) to place at least 5 per cent of their funds in equity. This year, the retirement fund body will invest only in ETF. economictimes
