NLC India Health Department Administered Polio Drops to Children at Neyveli and Peripheral Villages

NLC India Limited: arranged to administer the Polio Drops to the Children of Neyveli Township, besides peripheral villages on 02.04.2017 under the National Pulse Polio Programme. It was primarily inaugurated at Health Center, Block-6, by Shri. V. Chandra Sekar, CGM/Finance and also the Technical Secretary to CMD NLC India.
NLC India runs 10 Health Centers in Neyveli Township. 2 Booths per center were providing polio drops to children. Besides peripheral villages such as Muthandikuppam, Thideer Kuppam, mobile booths were run at General Hospital, Central Bus Stand, Arch Gate, Indira Nagar Security Gate, Mandarakuppam Bus stand and Railway Station, etc., which numbered 31 booths.
The Polio drops were administered to 2811 children and through door to door campaign, it would cover another 1400 children through employees of NLC India.Health Division It ensures the lineage of NLC India, on its committed socialresponsibility, towards Healthy India. The second phase of the programme will be held on 30-04-2017.
