NLCIL bags 7 awards instituted by non-profit organisation
New Delhi: NLCIL bags 7 awards instituted by non-profit organisation NLC India Limited (NLCIL) has bagged seven awards instituted by the Apex India Foundation, a New Delhi-based non-profit organisation.
The Apex India Excellence Awards, picked up by different units of NLCIL were presented during the recent two-day conference on ‘Occupational Safety, Health & Environment Sustainability’ in Goa. Shripad Yesso Naik, Union Minister of State for AYUSH and Defence, presented the awards. Neyveli Mine-I has won Occupational Health & Safety Award (Platinum Category) for its unique contribution in the field and Mine-II the Afforestation Activity Award (Platinum Category) for its green belt development activities.
The Corporate Environment Cell bagged the Environment Excellence Award (Platinum Category), while in the Human Resource Development discipline, NLCIL’s Learning and Development Centre won the HR Excellence Award (Gold Category) for excellence in training management. Neyveli Thermal Power Station-II picked up the Occupational Health and Safety Award (Gold Category) for its outstanding achievement in occupational health & safety management.
Rakesh Kumar, NLCIL CMD, R. Vikraman, NNM Rao, Prabhakar Chowki, Shaji John, Directors of NLCIL complimented the officers and employees of award winning units/departments.
