NLCIL ORGANISES CLEANLINESS DRIVE AT HERITAGE SITES
Neyveli: NLCIL organized cleanliness drive today (30.08.2017) in heritage sites in the town of Vridhachalam, Vadalur and Venkatampettai Village, as a part of the Cleanliness fortnight (16.08.2017-31.08.2017) with the participation of volunteer associations, students from schools & colleges, the cadets from the National corps, social service and the Guide girls.
Venkatampettai: The campaign began with an awareness rally by the Students of Venkatampettai Government H.S. and Elementary School.The Teachers, NCC Cadets and Girl Guides of NLCIL Schools,Members of the Neyveli Lignite City Lion’s Club, Volunteers of the People Service Group joined the rally from the school and reached the Temple ofLord Perumal and cleaned the temple premises. Officials of CSR Cell,NLCIL, the Local Headand School Authorities participated.
Vadalur: The members of the Associate Volunteers Blood Donors, Rotary Club of Neyveli, Cadets of NC,Guides, Junior Red Cross Volunteers, Students of the Vadalur OPR College of Education and officials of NLCIL-CSRcarried the message of cleanliness around the areas of Vadalurand spruced up the SatyaGnanaSabai of Saint Vallalar.
Vridhachalam: Members of the Ramakrishna SevaSangam,Neyveli Blood Donor’s Association,Rotary Club, the Public and the Students of the Government Girls & Boys H.S.School went in a rally calling on people to maintain heritage sites. They cleaned the premises of the Virudhagiriswar temple. Officials of the CSR cell of NLCIL were present on the occasion.
