NMDC observed Rashtriya Ekta Diwas

New Delhi:NMDC observed Rashtriya Ekta Diwas today i.e.31.10.2019 to commemorate the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the architect of national integration of independent India and to reinforce NMDC’s commitment to strengthen the security, unity and integrity of our country.

 

Shri Sumit Deb, Director (Personnel), NMDC Limited flagged “Run for Unity” programme, which was organized with enthusiasm and fervor at GHMC Ground, near Chacha Nehru Park, Masab Tank, Hyderabad in association with Sports Coaching Foundation, NGO to mark the occasion of “National Unity Day”. Apart from employees about 200 students from various technical institutions participated.

 

Prior to this Shri Sumit Deb administered “Rashtriya Ekta Diwas pledge” to employees and children.

 

In his address, Shri Deb emphasized that unity and integrity is need of the hour in a country like India with cultural and linguistic diversity. He further added that the birth anniversary of Sardar Patel will provide all of us an opportunity to reaffirm the inherent strength and resilience of our Nation to withstand the actual and potential threats to the unity, integrity and security of our country.
