NRDC IOCL APIS Jointly Organised Road Show

Vishakhapatnam: Dr. H. Purushotham, CMD, National Research Development Corporation, informed that NRDC -Intellectual Property Facilitation Centre, in collaboration with Indian Oil Corporation Limited and AP Innovation Society organized a Road Show on 4th August, 2018 at Hill No. 3, AP Innovation Society, Rushikonda, Vishakhapatnam with an aim to create awareness to the potential Entrepreneurs/Start-ups about the Start-up Funding opportunities available under the IOCL Start-up Scheme. 
 
More than 70 delegates from MSMEs, Startups, Industries, Universities and Academia, attended the event to avail an opportunity to turn their bright ideas into reality. IOCL representative Mr. TSR Gopala Rao, CGM, Indian Oil R&D center, Faridabad briefed about the IOCL Startup schemes (TPRE & BPRE) and funding mechanism in detail. Mr. Sanjeeva Gandhi, Sr. Manager, Indian Oil R&D centre, Faridabad, informed that IOCL is the first Indian company which stands in the first position in the fortune 500 companies listed.
 
Prof. Valli Kumari, CEO, APIS while addressing the conference explained about the progressive projects implemented in Andhra Pradesh by APIS.
 
Dr. H. Purushotham, spoke on the role of NRDC in hand-holding, mentoring, reviewing and promotion of the progress of Start-ups supported under IOCL as the Project Management Agency. He informed that now proposals are invited under IOCL Round-II of the Start-up Scheme. In the Road Show it has been mentioned that the last date for submission of the application for Startup funds of IOCL is 15th August, 2018 and entrepreneurs/Start-ups that got innovative ideas can be supported under 
the scheme.
