NRDC licensed Five Health Care Technologies in One Day
NEW DELHI . Dr. H. Purusotham, Chairman and Managing Director, National Research Development Corporation (NRDC), informed that NRDC signed five technology licensing agreements in one day.
The licensing agreements were signed between NRDC and the three companies recently.
The Technologies licensed are: a process for Isolation of a major harmful oxidant i.e. parabenzosemiquinone from Cigarette Smoke. The technology was developed by Kolkata University. The R&D was funded by CSIR. The technology is licensed to M/s Lambda Pvt. Ltd., Delhi.Ayur Force Organics Pvt. Ltd., New Delhi acquired three Ayurvedic technologies from NRDC, which were developed by M/s CCRAS (AYUSH-82 – Ayurvedic Antidiabetic Drug and AYUSH-SG for treatment of
Rheumatioid Arthritis) and CSIR-NEIST (Anti- Arthritis Herbal Formulation). M/s Swadesi Ayurved, Haridwar acquired the AYUSH-82 technology.
