NRDC Partners with CSIR-CEERI to Manage Incubation Centre
New Delhi: National Research Development Corporation entered into an Agreement with Central Electronics Engineering Research Institute (CSIR), Pillani to operationalize and manage their Incubation Centre being established at Jaipur.
The agreement was signed by Dr. H. Purushotham, CMD, NRDC and Prof. Santanee Chaudhary, Director, CSIR-CEERI, Pilani in presence of the senior officials of NRDC and CEERI. The initial funding for establishing the Incubation Centre has come from Deptt. of Science & Technology, Rajasthan, Govt. and the subsequent funding could be coming from CSIR.
He has further stated that Centre is a major boost to promote technoprenurship and can incubate initially about 20 startups in the area of Electronics Sector and the infrastructure can be enhanced if there is a demand. It is an excellent opportunity for the technopreneurs to establish startups as CEERI can provide innovative technologies, R&D and testing support, mentoring and hand-holding along with NRDC.
Dr. H. Purushotham stated that NRDC being a Section 8 Company with rich experience in innovation, incubation, IP and technology management partnered to manage the Incubation Centre. Profitable private and public sector companies can invest their CSR funds in developing the Incubation Centre which can contribute to the creation of wealth, employment and socio-economic development in that region.
He has further stated that the initiative would be a gateway for doing business with other CSIR laboratories particularly managing their Incubation Centre.
