NRDC Pays Royalty to RS 6 point 46 Cr toDSIR and CSIR

NEW DELHI. National Research Development Corporation (NRDC) has paid an amount of Rs. 6.46 Crore to Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR), and Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) towards Royalty payments for the technologies of DSIR and for commercializing CSIR’s technologies for the year 2015-16. 
 
The cheque was presented to Dr. Girish Sahni, Secretary DSIR and DG, CSIR by Dr. H. Purushotham, CMD, NRDC. Present on the occasion was Dr. Harsh Vardhan, Union Minister of Science & Technology and Earth Sciences, Govt. of India.
 
NRDC, a Section 25 Company (now Section 8) under the administrative control of Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR), Ministry of Science & Technology, Govt. of India, is actively engaged in commercialisation of Intellectual Properties/ technologies etc. developed by various public funded R&D institutions like CSIR, DRDO, ICAR, ICMR, PSUs and Universities. For the last two years NRDC is expanding its reach to the stakeholders and establishing strong partnerships with them.
