Piyush Goyal INAUGURATES SMART CLASSES
Ranchi: Shri. Piyush Goyal, Hon’ble Union Minister of Railways & Coal remotely inaugurated ‘Smart Classes’ at Central Coalfields Ltd. (CCL) and Bharat Coking Coal Ltd. (BCCL), from CIL Headquarters in Kolkata.
The “Smart Classes” are being organized for CCL & BCCL Ke Lal and Laadli using multimedia teleconferencing system with adaptive synchronization, where the students can interact with the faculty. The classes will be conducted in Ranchi and webcasted to seven centers in CCL and BCCL.
CCL & BCCL Ke Lal and Laadli is a program where young boys & girls belonging to Project Affected Families and children living in the command areas are provided with free school education, coaching, boarding & lodging to help them prepare for admission in engineering colleges like IITs, NITs and other prestigious colleges of the country. 388 students from these centers will be benefitted under this program.
