Raigarh youth to hold toilet summit in Delhi
RAIPUR: India Toilet Summit 2015 based on the theme 'sanitation for all - toilet first' would be organized in Delhi on February 6 by social entrepreneur Rusen Kumar, a resident of Raigarh in Chhattisgarh. The summit, to be held at Progress Harmony Development (PHD) Chamber House, New Delhi, will focus on the increasing importance of hygiene, health, sanitation, and toilet related issues. It will provide a national forum to initiate a dialogue and enlighten the gathering on various issues related to sanitation, toilet movement, woman empowerment, women dignity and girl child education. The summit involves some of the most reputed and competent national and world renowned speakers from government and private sectors, research agencies, innovators, social and though leaders dealing in sanitation and toiletries industries in the country.
"The summit is not a commercial event. It is a social event that will connect the various stakeholders dealing with sanitation and toilet contraction. It is aligned to Prime Minister's 'Swachh Bharat Mission' and through the summit various issues connected to the toilet and sanitation, health and education and also resolutions to achieve nation sanitation goals can be discussed," Kumar said.
