RailTel sign MoU for roll out of RailWire services in Sabarkantha District, Gujarat
NEW DELHI . RailTel Corporation of India Ltd. signed a MoU with Sabarkantha District, Gujarat, was signed with Sabarkantha District, Gujarat.
The MoU is for RailTel to roll out of RailWire services in 424 GPs in Sabarkantha District of Gujrat in collaboration with Zilla Panchayat. RailWire is a collaborative model to deliver reliable and affordable broadband services to connect small enterprises & Indian homes. Considering the potential of this model in bringing a positive change in the society, the Sabarkantha District Co-op bank signed an MoU with the Zilla Panchayat in the same function.This project will help the upliftment of the people of Sabarkantha District by bridging the information arbitrage and is slated to be completed by 1st Jan 2016.
The MoU documents were exchanged in the presence of the Chief Minister of Gujarat Smt. Anandiben Patel, UnionMinister of Agriculture, Minister of Agriculture , Gujarat, the Ambassador of Israel and the Counselor General of Israel. MPs, MLAs, Zilla Panchayat President, elected representatives of Taluka and Gram Panchayats and State Govt. officials were also present on the occasion.
This project will help the upliftment of the people of Sabarkantha District by bridging the information arbitrage and is slated to be completed by 1st Jan 2016.
