REC to provide Aids and Appliances to persons with disabilities under CSR initiatives
New Delhi. Rural Electrification Corporation Ltd. (REC), a Navratana PSE under Ministry of Power, has committed outlay of Rs.3.30 crore under CSR initiatives for the purpose of providing Aids and Assistive devices to Persons with Disabilities from economically weaker sections of society.
A MoU in this regard was signed between REC and Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporation of India (ALIMCO), for the assessment and distribution of Aids and Appliances to Persons with Disabilities recently at REC Corporate Office in New Delhi.
