Russian delegation visits HEC Ltd

Ranchi: October 18, 2016A Russian delegation led by Mr. Yuri Lyzhin, Director External Relations and Mr Roman Shmonov, External Relations Specialist from M/s Uralvagonzavod (UVZ) visited HEC Ltd, Ranchi yesterday. The purpose of the visit was to deepen mutual co-operation and to extend business with HEC Ltd.

M/s Uralvagonzavod (UVZ) is the second largest Joint Stock Company in the Russian Federation today. The Company incorporates more than 20 industrial enterprises, research institutes and design offices Russia.

Welcoming the delegation Shri Avijit Ghosh, CMD, HEC highlighted the core areas of business of HEC and its growing relationship with the Companies in the Russian Federation.

Shri Avijit Ghosh said that getting into a business relationship with M/s Uralvagonzavod (UVZ) would support the `Make in India` programme.

The delegation visited FFP, HMBP and HMTP plants of HEC and appreciated the manufacturing potential of HEC. They had discussion on the mutual businesses and considered a joint venture for making wheel axle sets for Indian Railways. Besides it they also agreed to mutually cooperate in the production of bull dozers.UVZ expressed for creating joint venture with HEC for manufacturing wheel sets for Railways. The visiting team also discussed about business possibilities in other areas like construction machines etc.
