SCOPE Conclave on Media Relations
NEW DELHI. SCOPE organized two-day Media Relations Conclave for CEOs & Spokespersons of Public Sector Enterprises which was inaugurated by Mr. Ved Prakash, Vice Chairman, SCOPE and CMD, MMTC Limited. In his inaugural speech, Mr. Ved Prakash highlighted the importance of media vis-à-vis the role of CEOs and spokespersons of public sector enterprises.
Dr. U.D. Choubey, Director General, SCOPE highlighted the contribution of public sector enterprises and imparting best practices in corporate governance. He advised all the CEOs and media spokespersons to learn the art and science of interaction with media which is highly sensitive, to promote the brand of public sector.
He said that PSEs must take the advantage of social media to promote public sector and thwart any negative publicity. The Conclave was attended by galaxy of CEOs, media spokespersons and representatives from both electronic and print media who shared their views.
