Shri D.K. Sikri appointed CCI chairman
New Delhi: Shri Devender Kumar Sikri, a former Gujarat cadre Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer, was on Thursday appointed as chairman of fair-trade regulator Competition Commission of India (CCI).
“Sikri has been appointed as CCI Chairman,” a senior official in the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) said. 62-year-old Sikri succeeds Ashok Chawla, whose over four-year tenure as CCI chief ended on Thursday.
