Shri I.J. Kapoor takes over as Technical Member APTEL

NEW DELHI.  Shri Inder Jit Kapoor took oath as Technical Member of Appellate Tribunal for Electricity (APTEL) today in New Delhi. Before joining the Appellate Tribunal, Shri Kapoor was serving as Director (Commercial), on the board of NTPC Limited for about 7 years.

 

Shri Kapoor is a Mechanical engineering graduate from Delhi College of Engineering and has done MBA in marketing. He joined NTPC in 1978 as third batch Engineering Executive Trainee (EET) and was the first EET to be on the Board of Directors of the company.

 

He is a Senior Member, Institute of Electrical & Electronics Engineers, USA and also Fellow of Institution of Engineers, India.
