Shri M V Subba Rao assigned additional Charge of CMD of KIOCL

Bangalore: MV Subba Rao, Director (Commercial) has been assigned additional charge of Chairman-cum-Managing Director of KIOCL Limited.    He will succeed Shri Malay Chatterjee, who laid down his office on completion Five years of tenure in KIOCL Limited.

  

Sri M V Subba Rao is a B Tech  from NITW and MBA has   played a key role in introducing gas based DRI/HBI in Steel making through Electric Arc Furnace,  induction  Furnace, COREX etc., Presented and published several Technical papers related to Steel making, Sponge Iron, Modernization of Steel industry etc.

 

As Director (Commercial), he was able  to improve  turn over above 1800 Crores which is highest since inception. He has also played a key role in developing domestic pellet market as well as global market. He is  instrumental in introducing use of pellets in Public Sector Plants like SAIL, RINL etc.
