Steel PSUs to give Rs 2 cr to set up pvt school
New Delhi. Four state-owned steel giants have signed agreements to cumulatively provide Rs 2 crore for setting up a school of privately run Amity Group in Union steel minister Beni Prasad Verma’s Gonda constituency in Uttar Pradesh.
The four PSUs — SAIL, NMDC, RINL and MOIL — have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Amity Group for providing Rs 2 crore assistance for the school, a ministry source said. “They have been asked to contribute for the school, which would be set up in Gonda. The foundation stone laying ceremony is likely in next few days,” the source said. New Indian Express
