Swachh Bharat Abhiyan in MECON

Ranchi: As a part of the observance of Swachh Bharat Mission of the Government of India and also to celebrate the 148th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, a cleanliness drive was undertaken in MECON on 02.10.2017. On the occasion, as a befitting tribute to the Father of the Nation, employees took the pledge to contribute 100 hours in a year in their efforts to keep the country neat and clean. Sri Atul Bhatt, CMD, MECON administered the pledge to the employees. Subsequently, a mass sweeping programme led by CMD was organized at the parking area of the office. A large number of employees took part in the mass sweeping programme. 

 

Speaking on the occasion, CMD urged employees to take all efforts to make India clean and hygienic. He also lauded MECON’s CSR activities in rural areas in creating awareness among rural mass on cleanliness and hygienic way of leaving.
