Team Jagriti Organised Blood Donation Camp
Singrauli: Keeping up with the spirit of 'World Blood Donor Day', Jagriti Mahila Mandal of NCL Krishnashila Area organised Blood Donation Camp at Bina Dispensary on Thursday. On this occasion, President, Jagriti Mahila Mandal, Smt. Mamta Pandey highlighted the tremendous importance of blood donation and said that what is a matter of few minutes for a donor might become a matter of life for a recipient. She said that each one of us should spare few minutes out of our busy schedules and pledge to donate blood on periodical basis as it is one of those few voluntary contributions that saves lives.
On this occasion a total of 22 persons including employees of Krishnashila Area donated blood.
Notably, World Blood Donor Day is celebrated worldwide on June 14. The theme for World Blood Donor Day-2018 is 'Be there for someone else. Give blood. Share life'.
