The foundation stone laying ceremony of STPI under implementation by HSCL
Amritsar. Shri. Ravi Shankar Parsad, Hon’ble Union Minister for Electronics and Information Technology laid the foundation stone of the Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) at Amritsar, under implementation by Hindustan Steelworks Construction Limited, , on 7th November 2016 in presence of State Ministers and Officials of STPI and HSCL.
The Amritsar incubation centre, spread over 2.72 acres of land, will be a three-storied fully furnished air conditioned with state-of-art Network Operation Centre (NOC),The new facility would serve the IT/ITeS exporting units by offering modern infrastructure facilities including incubation facility , high speed data communication and connectivity and exports facilitation, creating new direct and indirect employment opportunities too.
This is a part of the national initiative under Digital India programme so that the hardware and software industry grows in pace with the international developments and create new employment opportunities as well as avenue for the startups.
