KTM AG Secures €550 Million Refinancing Loan | Bajaj Mobility AG & Bajaj Auto Limited

KTM AG, a step-down subsidiary of Bajaj Auto Limited through Bajaj Mobility AG, has successfully secured a refinancing loan of €550 million (approximately ₹5,904.8 crore at an assumed exchange rate of 1 Euro = ₹107.36) from a consortium of international banks, including J.P. Morgan SE, HSBC, DBS Bank Limited, and MUFG Bank Ltd.

The unsecured loan, with a five-year term, will be used to repay an intra-group loan previously availed from Bajaj Auto International Holdings B.V. as part of KTM AG’s ongoing restructuring plan. This refinancing fully replaces the earlier €450 million financing provided in 2025, providing KTM AG with a stronger, long-term financial foundation to support its global operations and strategic growth initiatives.

The refinancing comes at a time of notable improvement in KTM AG’s operational performance. After a challenging first half of 2025, the company witnessed a 60% increase in global retail sales, stabilized wholesale deliveries, and a reduction of over 100,000 units in inventory levels in the second half of the year.

KTM AG also continued its strong momentum in motorsports, winning the Rally Dakar and securing multiple world championship titles in Motocross and Enduro, building on the record 29 championship titles achieved in 2025—the most successful motorsports season in the company’s history.
