NCL Wins Golden Peacock Award for CSR 2025
Mumbai, February 20, 2026: Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL), the flagship subsidiary of Coal India Limited based in Singrauli, has been awarded the prestigious Golden Peacock Award for Corporate Social Responsibility (GPACSR) – 2025 under the National Award category. The accolade was conferred during the 20th International Conference on Corporate Social Responsibility, organized by the Institute of Directors (IOD), India at Mumbai.
The award was received by Shri Manish Kumar, Director (HR), NCL, on behalf of the company. Also present at the ceremony were Shri Rajiv Ranjan, General Manager (CSR), along with other senior officials of NCL.
About the Award Ceremony
The award was presented during the Golden Peacock Awards Presentation Ceremony held at Hotel Taj Lands End, Mumbai, as part of the IOD’s 20th International Conference on CSR themed: “Making CSR Work: Integrating ESG into Board Strategy and Governance”.
The Golden Peacock Awards, instituted by the Institute of Directors, India, are recognized globally as benchmarks of corporate excellence. The awards are presented under Global and National categories, acknowledging exemplary corporate governance, sustainability, and social responsibility initiatives.
