Language clash continues, Now SBI faces Hindi Vs Kannada language debate
Karnataka, May 21, 2025: Recently, a video is surfacing on X, showing an employee from State Bank of India in Karnataka and a customer came into a heated argument over the language.
In the viral clip, customer asked the SBI employee to speak in Kannada, over this she refused to speak in the local Language. It can be seen that the woman is speaking English.
People start commenting to terminate the SBI employee for her bad behaviour and not speaking in Kannada, also people are saying to boycott SBI.
Facing a backlash over this later the woman later released an apology video.
X User while posting this video writes,
Why should I speak Kannada..!
This is India, you speak Hindi, arrogant words..
The people of Karnataka are Kannadigas
The language we should get service in is Kannada, why do we need #Hindi..?
If you don't want #Kannada,
We don't need you either..
How can you apologize for this..?
We don't need this apology that is being made with gritted teeth and being sarcastic..
She doesn't show any remorse for her arrogant words, she doesn't even know about the tragedy that has happened..
