Shankar Lal Agarwal nominated as Non-Official Director of Punjab & Sind Bank
State-run Punjab & Sind Bank has announced that Shri Shankar Lal Agrawal has been nominated as Part Time Non-Official Director on the bank board.
According to the exchange filing made, in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (h) of sub-section (3) of section 9 of the Banking Companies (Acquisition and Transfer of Undertakings) Act, 1980, read with sub clause (1) of clause 3 of the Nationalised Banks (Management and Miscellaneous Provisions) Scheme, 1980, the Central Government, vide notification eF.No.6/1(viii)/2024-BO.I dated 11.04.2025 has re-nominated Shri Shankar Lal Agarwal as Part-Time Non-Official Director on the Board of the Bank for a period of 1 year from the date of notification or until further orders.
The Date of Appointment is 11.04.2025.
